Meek's Lumber, a Division of US LBM Is seeking a Marketing Manager/Events Coordinator to join their team in Springfield, MO!

Schedule: Mon-Fri: 7:00AM-5:00PM - Additional hours during events

Wage: $50,000 - $55,000 a year

How you will spend your day as a Marketing Manager/Events Coordinator:

• Planning, managing, and coordinating local contractor-focused small and large-scale events.
• Implement marketing activities in alignment with overall company strategies and objectives.
• Inform the Sales team of marketing campaign objectives and timelines. Answer any questions the team may have regarding campaigns and other marketing activities.
• Maintain current and accurate sales support materials. Generate new sales materials as necessary.
• Ensure marketing projects are completed on time, according to budget, and within scope.
• Build and maintain positive work relationships with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
• Monitor the marketing budget according to company policy.
• Assist in leading the lifecycle of marketing programs, including the identification of target markets and development of marketing plans.
• Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

• Prior event planning experience

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent team building skills
• Time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
• Strong marketing background
• Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Assist with the company’s marketing strategy
• Responsible for the BuildersPlus customer loyalty program

We want you to join our team if you can check these boxes:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is required.
• 2+ years’ experience in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field is required.
• Familiarity or experience with Sales is highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of industry best practices, risk assessment techniques, standards, and all applicable laws and regulations as they relate to marketing is required.
