JOB MISSION:

The Global Marketing Coordinator- Seeding is an opportunity to join New Balance’s Boston-based Global Marketing Team. A driver of NB’s brand growth is sampling our product to partners, athletes, artists and influencers. This role will work in partnership with other Marketing Coordinators, as well as with other members of our Global Communications, Performance and Lifestyle teams in the execution of seeding and sampling. This is an entry-level position within our growing Global Marketing team and will include exposure to various parts of NB’s Global Marketing functions.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Track, receive and organize in-bound product samples (footwear and apparel).

  • Own ordering process of inline footwear and apparel product needs for PR (sport & lifestyle categories).

  • Fulfill seeding shipments as directed by Global Marketing teams across sport and lifestyle categories.

  • Learn NB’s categories and familiarize yourself with our Marketing Plans and how these plans sync with seeding and sampling.

  • Understand and develop processes for prioritizing samples and seeding shipments

  • Develop communications to be included in each sample, bespoke to the individual recipient.

  • Work cross-functionally with NB Marketing and Facilities teams to ensure the smooth inflow and outflow of product samples.

  • Create global standardized seeding box for tier A, B and C receivers (celebrities, influencers, tastemakers, athletes, Face of Brand & ambassadors).

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • BA/BS Required

  • 1+ years experience

  • Detail oriented, with ability to work in fast paced environment

  • Interest in NB’s categories preferred.

  • Footwear, fashion, apparel, or athletic industry experience a plus, but not required.

  • Strong execution skills; consistently produce results and meet deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal/written presentation skills

  • Self-starter, confident, proactive about reaching out to gain feedback/problem solve
