Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and publish high quality content and creative across multiple channels such as company website, social media, marketing emails, print, billboards, and radio
  • Plan and execute digital and traditional marketing campaigns and initiatives, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email campaigns, social media, print marketing, and ad buying campaigns
  • Coordinate the organization of promotional events and attend them to facilitate their success
  • Coordinate and monitor active marketing programs and develop ways to improve those campaigns
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Develop, maintain, and nurture vendor and partner relationships
  • Support our rural transit partners through existing joint marketing plans to promote increase brand awareness and ridership
  • Support various community communication tools to help build an awareness of intercity bus transportation such as, but not limited to, providing bus information at city hall and public service announcements
  • Work on any other marketing initiatives as determined by the Marketing team
Qualifications

Qualification/Skill Requirements:

  • Demonstrate excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing
  • Possess an eye for design and image/brand compatibility
  • Excellent research, organization, and time management skills
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively; remote and in-office
  • Possess strong written, verbal, and computer skills
  • Ability to identify and problem solve critical tasks
  • Able to meet deadlines, multi-task, and take initiative while remaining organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Quick learner with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to take direction and learn information quickly and accurately
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/Canva and/or WordPress is a plus

Education and/or experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • 2-3 Years of Marketing Experience

Hours and Travel:

Some evening and weekend hours required based on company needs and/or community events.
