Reports To: General Manager & Membership Committee Chair(s)

SUMMARY

Follow-up on all membership inquiries for new members, upgrades / downgrades of existing members, and member resignations. Provides various ad hoc office administrative duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Membership

· Recommend marketing strategies to promote our membership offerings

· Recommend membership classifications or changes to current classes to ensure the needs of ever-changing markets are met

· To keep complete records with regards to membership inquiries

· Respond to membership inquiries and maintain a detailed report on all correspondence

· Respond weekly to contacts until they apply or discontinue communication

· Tour perspective members and clients

· Responsible for scheduling and conducting new member orientation

· To operate the Club’s selected computer application(s) to be used for member management, payment processing and member communication

· Attend Membership/Marketing Meetings on a monthly basis

· Assist in the development of marketing materials

Marketing

· To educate front line F&B and Golf Staff to upsell membership and event participation

· Manage and develop content for our social media accounts

· Market golf outings and banquet events to local groups and businesses

· Internal and external market research and campaigns

· Suggest content for front end of website

· Work with department managers and member contributors to create and publish the Club’s monthly newsletter

· Create digital and print content to market events to current members with a goal of increased attendance

· Work closely with Event Manager to coordinate with clients and market events

· Actively participate with the Club Management Team and attend all Management Team meetings.

· Collaborate with the Management Team on Club operations including, at times, assisting peer managers with their duties

· Act professionally towards CCC management, staff and Board Members when dealing with Club business and operational situations

Administrative Duties

· Answer incoming phone call and general inquires to the office

· Print scorecards or materials needed by other departments at the club

· Enter member and event payments in the bank and record these payments in the appropriate financial system.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organization and task management skills are essential. Proven computer application and social media experience or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn required skills. Excellent communication skills as this position is a primary contact for all members.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (BA) or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, committees, suppliers, members and employees.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Working knowledge of various computer software programs. Knowledge of online product ordering, social media, and other online capacities.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands/fingers to handle and feel; stoop; kneel; and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is usually indoors, in a controlled environment, and experience a moderate amount of noise in the work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
