At a market level the Director Safety & Security, promotes and provides for the security and safety of patients, employees and visitors at Northwest Health. Position develops policy, procedures, and staffing plans to protect the organizations buildings, assets and premises. Strong understanding of resources, tools, and training needed to heighten campus safety with the ability to execute new initiatives. Ability to formulate, develop, implement, and supervise a multi-scale safety and security program. Experience leading hospital emergency management programs including response and drills.

Hospital-based security leadership and emergency management team reports directly to this position. Director works collaboratively with senior leadership, local jurisdictions, and departments leaders.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in related field preferred.
• Requires a valid Driver’s License
• De-escalation training within 3 months
