Maola Local Dairies, Richmond Shipping Clerk supports the Distribution function by coordinating all open orders, and communicating with the team on any delays and schedule changes. Additionally, this position receives, stores, and moves products, tools, and equipment throughout the branch facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Performs inventory of products each day.

• Unloads trucks as received. Checks the quantity of products received against the packing list. Reports any discrepancies to supervisor.

• Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.

• Stacks products in the cooler in the correct order to ensure proper rotation of product.

• Marks rows with product numbers and code dates.

• Loads route trucks as indicated on the daily load request and verifies the order by double checking the quantity.

• Keeps warehouse clean, orderly and in safe condition at all times.

• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements Include:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to pull up to 200 lbs.

• Must be able to work in a 36 degree environment and be able to adjust to fluctuating temperatures.

Education and Experience

• High school graduate or general education degree (GED).

• Warehouse experience preferred.

• Must be able to obtain pallet jack and/or lift truck license.
