SUMMARY

Responsible for cleaning tanks, totes, pumps, miscellaneous parts, the LM wash room, and basic weighing and checking duties for the Liquid Manufacturing Department. Additionally, each of the 3 suites in LM will have monthly cleanings assigned, and various other assignments as needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following after training has been completed under the watch of a qualified trainer and sign off as trained on SOPs:

  • Wear gloves, masks, glasses, hair, and beard nets as required.
  • Keep all LM areas clear of debris
  • Remove trash daily
  • Wear hearing and eye protection according to associated SOPs
  • Train in all SOPs pertinent to the job as required
  • LOTO procedures
  • Keep vessels properly cleaned
  • Clean and reassemble pumps for the production cycle
  • Forklift operations as training becomes available
  • Report to other assignments as production needs dictate
  • Adherence to attendance and safety policies

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Must have basic computer abilities
  • Must be detail oriented

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Must have a high school diploma. Experience with machinery and manufacturing preferred, but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read a limited number of two-and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Forklift license will be done through TMS training.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to working near moving mechanical parts, work in high places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. There are parts of the job that are highly dusty, and there can be strong odors when batching occurs.

To be considered for further promotion, there must be no Safety related issues or Quality related issues in the last 90 days. There must be adherence to the TMS Attendance Policy, and no Written or Verbal warnings.

You must have completed 6 months of the job before consideration to another posting within the company.
