Manufacturing Manager

NELCO is seeking a Manufacturing Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager. The Manufacturing Manager will provide leadership and supervision of all manufacturing employees as well as managing overall day-to-day manufacturing production.
Manufacturing Manager Job Q ualifi c a t i o n s
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school or equivalent experience; construction experience required
- Minimum 5 years’ manufacturing operation management experience, including direct supervision of staff
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
- Solid interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9000/9001/9004 quality system preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong knowledge of an ERP system
- Architectural drawing knowledge preferred

- Manage manufacturing plant employees, including daily time sheets
- Ensure smooth day-to-day production operations
- Manage shipping, receiving, and delivery schedule
- Prepare requisitions for purchasing needs
- Coordinate Environmental Health and Safety training with corporate EH&S team
- Coordinate Quality Management System (QMS) for manufacturing team with General Manager
- Final quality control check for outgoing orders
