Based in the heart of downtown Renton, RCS uses cutting-edge, patented technology and engineering expertise to develop products for the most challenging of aerospace, commercial and performance applications since 1949.

Job Duties of a Machine Operator

• Support your team through multiple phases of parts production (coiling, grinding, racking, deburring, grit blasting and assembly.)
• Assist with special projects, new product development and testing.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. RCS embraces the five S methodology.
• Cross train within the department to learn other skills and work processes.
• Participate in RCS provided skills development.

Physical Demands of a Machine Operator

• Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs. (10%)
• Ability to stand upright (up to 100%)
• Ability to walk constantly throughout the shift (up to 100%)
• Occasional need to bend or squat (10%)
• Frequent use of foot controls (up to 100%)
• Frequent use of handling and grasping (up to 100%)

Qualifications of a Machine Operator

• The ideal candidate would have experience as a machine operator, machinist, or manufacturing and production.
• Additional experience as a maintenance technician, auto technician, mechanic, or from construction may also be considered.
• Fabrication, welding and manual machining skills will be beneficial but not essential.
• Basic hand tool/machine experience.
• Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve shared departmental goals.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Detail Oriented.
• Basic hand tool/machine experience.
• Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English (in relation to safety, quality and manufacturing processes).
