VACCINE BULK PRODUCT RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT AND MANUFACTURING:

• Basic Knowledge, understanding and exposure to cGMP and regulatory requirements of the Biotechnology industry.
• Writing MBRs, SOPs and other controlled documents in a detailed and accurate fashion for Manufacturing operations as per cGMP requirements.
• Equipment set up like sterilization, assembly etc. for fermentation and purification processes.
• Preparation of Master and Working cell banks for various Micro-organisms in cGMP conditions
• Designing, executing and analyzing fermentation process conditions for wild and /or recombinant microorganisms and standardizing fermentation process for vaccine development.
• Designing, executing and analyzing purification process using Tangential flow filtration (TFF), column chromatography, standardizing purification process for vaccine development.
• Developing and standardizing formulations.
• Executing /participating in Qualification, validation of process, equipment, utilities program following approved protocols.
• Maintaining Batch Manufacturing Records, Sops and validation documents for fermentation and purification process.
• Writing, compiling and presenting research and development work internally and externally.

Qualifications

• Experience with the set up, maintenance and operation of stirred tank bioreactors and harvest operations (depth filtration, tangential flow filtration).
• Experience with media preparation and assembling of fermenters. GMP experience
• 6+ months of industry experience related to microbiology techniques and testing.
