Duties and Responsibilities:
- Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and complete projects related to processes, procedures, and systems on time and within budget, with a specified beginning and end. Evaluate and consult to improve quality of results and process improvement.
- Coordinate and perform day-to-day operational activities for projects, which may include scheduling and setting up meetings, preparing meeting agendas, administration, finance, IT, compliance, communications and outreach, and other activities.
- Develop, implement, and track project plans, including monitoring project scope, goals, schedule, timeline, deliverables, identifying and reporting issues, and performing research and analysis with qualitative and quantitative data to problem-solve, make decisions, and find solutions.
- Design and develop project knowledge resources (e.g., dashboards, databases, documentation, visuals, policies, and procedures), including utilization of project management software.
- Serve as the bridge between Undergraduate Education leadership, internal and external stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to secure resources, provide updates, and ensure achievement of project outcomes.
- Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs.
- Facilitate results through management and support of business practices and policies to effectively manage university resources and programs.
- Lead quality assurance with attention to every stage of the project process.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with different groups/individuals.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, such as under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Skill in scheduling and time management.
- Proactive work ethic.
- Use critical thinking skills to solve complex problems.
- Skill in public speaking and presenting information to large groups.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other certification for project managers
- Project management experience, including proficiency in project management software tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, scrum, kanban boards, etc.
- Experience coordinating executive-level schedules and calendars
- Experience with university policies and procedures
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe software suite, Box, and Qualtrics
