Manager – ESG

This role will be based in Barcelona, Spain. Candidates need to reside in Barcelona area.

Responsibilities – Assigned Projects

• Lead assigned ESG projects and develop supporting project plans and documentation.
• Ensure tasks/activities are executed within budget/timeframe, while managing project resources.
• Facilitate work groups, stakeholder interviews, and review sessions, capturing and clarifying specific requirements of each project.
• Design project goals and success markers, determine how success will be measured and tracked.
• Documentation of project requirements and ensuring follow through on action items.
• Develop executive project dashboard when required.

Responsibilities – Europe and Israel Markets

• ESG SME (go-to) for Europe and Israel operations and marketing.
• Groundwork and relationship building in operations to advance global ESG initiatives, goals, and objectives.
• Develop relationships with Europe and Israel management teams.
• Facilitate Europe and Israel annual ESG data collection to meet ESG report deadlines.
• Support CSRD (Europe) Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive

Responsibilities – ESG Subject Matter Expertise Tasks

• Track global ESG specific regulation and macro trends, providing impact assessments.
• Proactively research, organize, and assess ESG tax, subsidy, incentive programs.
• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
• Peer ESG benchmarking analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required. Preferred engineering, business, or sustainability related degree; desired certification/s: PMP and sustainability related certifications.
• Demonstrated experience in ESG or Sustainability related field with LCA experience.
• Strong analytical skills for data computations and interpretations.
• Hands-on experience with project management of medium-large scale, system implementations, and process improvement projects.

• Demonstrated experience communicating business processes, work streams, and collaborating with various functional departments on a global basis (oral and written); communicating to both a technical and non-technical audience.
• Present an upbeat/encouraging attitude and energy, maintaining positive relationships with teammates and stakeholders.
• Strength and experience with innovation and continuous improvement.
• Computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite with advanced strength in Project, Excel, Power Point, and Word.
• Knowledge of route delivery business preferred.
• Primary travel across European operations with some travel to the United States and Israel.
