Position OverviewTo provide responsive leadership to the BioMedical Engineering Department, enabling staff to provide high quality services and maintain medical equipment. The department will strive to achieve continuously improved services by ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards, and by meeting or exceeding customers’ needs.
Position Requirements
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or other healthcare-related field.
Three (3) years’ experience as a Supervisor or Manager Clinical Engineering, or five (5) years’ experience as a Senior Biomedical Equipment Specialist/Technician.
Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Business, Technology or other healthcare-related field.
Three (3) years’ experience as a Supervisor or Manager Clinical Engineering, or five (5) years’ experience as a Senior Biomedical Equipment Specialist/Technician.
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
AAMI Affliation
Preferred:
AAMI certification as a CBET or CHTM
