We are one of the largest family held distributors of plumbing, HVAC and waterworks products in the nation. Currently we have 120+ locations throughout the Southeast and were continuing to expand. If you think Southern Pipe sounds like the place for you and you have a college degree and some practical work experience, we would like to hear from you (preferred degrees are in marketing, management or general business but will consider any degree). Must have undergraduate degree and be willing and able to relocate. Preferred candidates are those who graduated within the past 3 years but will consider recent graduates. Accounting and finance degrees should review the job description in detail. This position is not or will not lead to an accounting or finance position. Initial assignment will be in Nashville, TN. Future relocation will be required regardless of current location. Advancement potential is based on performance and willingness to relocate.

The Distribution Development Program is our primary source of future leaders/managers. 95%+ of our manager positions are filled from DDP or within the company. As part of DDP, you will work through a self-paced program designed to introduce you to the dynamic business of Wholesale Distribution. Your first year will challenge you as you learn: thousands of products; our operating system; our strategies/operating philosophies; and the world of contractors and construction. Once you have the basics, we will engage you in sales, logistics and other aspects of our business.
