Jefferson Health Care is looking for a Maintenance Director to join our team!

The Maintenance Director is required to perform several duties related to the cleaning, repair, and upkeep of the property/facility. They are responsible for solving different problems and performing regular preventative maintenance. Qualifications include 5+ years maintenance within a long-term care facility, valid drivers license, reliable transportation, mechanical aptitude, high attention to details, and good communication skills.

• Possess in depth technical understanding involved with repairs and preventative maintenance of heating systems, plumbing, environmental systems, general repairs and construction
• Ensure all new employees are oriented to safety practices as required by local, state and federal agencies.
• Oversee and provide maintenance for the entire facility
• Monitor and evaluate outside contractors
• Arrange fire drills and maintain safety documentation
• Develop and implement building and equipment preventative maintenance programs
• Excellent communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to prioritize demands, lead a team and make sound decisions
• Possess a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Fiscally responsible
