Expand your maintenance career in New Prague! We’re hiring a maintenance technician to conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment. In this maintenance technician role, you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including welding, plumbing, wiring, painting, carpentry, and use of machine tools.

Wage: $30 – 36/hr.
Hours: 3 pm – 10 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the maintenance technician:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment
- Provide support for new equipment installations and improvement projects including updates to existing equipment and facility layout
- Work with production, engineering, and quality departments to schedule new equipment installations, equipment downtime, and preventative maintenance
- Work with vendors to purchase replacement components and schedule third-party maintenance services
- Occasionally diagnose and troubleshoot control systems including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Occasionally use machine tools and welding equipment to develop custom components
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other moving equipment
Qualifications of the maintenance technician:
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate degree in facilities maintenance or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understand engineered drawings
- Read and understand weld symbols and weld procedure specifications
- Experience in PLC including Crimson, RSLogix5000, and DirectLOGIC, preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is preferred
