Job description

This job includes general maintenance. This includes the following:

- Plumbing repairs
- A/C repair
- Taking out trash around the entire hotel
- Working on landscaping such as mowing, weed eating, blowing the parking lot, pulling weeds in the landscape and etc.
- General Painting
- Carpet cleaning
- Cleaning A/C filters
- And many other various jobs

There are some jobs that we call a professional for complicated jobs, but that does not mean that we call someone for every single job. It would also be nice to have someone nearby in Abingdon. We do want someone to work 5 to 6 days out of the week and also need someone on call for emergency. Must have work experience in the field. Must be professional about dress code even though we provide our own shirts for uniforms and name tag. Also, this job also includes lifting heavy items. For this job you will also need a valid drivers license and vehicle. For this position, our maintenance technician needs to drive to run to hardware stores and other stores as well.

In addition, we want someone to have their own tools; however, we do provide general tools. Other tools may also be provided, but their own cordless power drill and bits should suffice along with simple basic tools.
