This position will be 2-3 hours per week as needed. $200 per month.

Maintenance Technician/CPO

Elkmont Mini Storage is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Technician/CPO to perform a variety of maintenance tasks to help maintain and upkeep our facilities. The ideal candidate will be one who pays close attention to details and likes to be hands on. One who is friendly and has good communication skills and likes to be helpful. We are looking for someone with integrity and a positive attitude. Ultimately you will be working directly with the Facility Manager to help ensure that everything on the grounds is clean, manicured and in working order. A flexible schedule and eagerness to work are a must.

· Visit the Facility each week and inspect the buildings, grounds, and equipment

· Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained

· Clean trash and debris from buildings and storage areas

· Respond to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion

· Check furnaces, A/C units, and dehumidifiers; change filters as needed

· Check overhead doors and service when needed

· Clean storage units after tenant move-outs

· Complete task lists sent to you each week by your Facility Manager

· Read and follow manuals and other written instructions

· Maintain receipts for company purchases

· Use equipment, including power tools and hand tools

· Collaborate with contractors as needed

· Inspect gutters, and make sure no obstructions are present

· Inspect lights, and make sure all are in working order

· Assist with larger repairs and clean-outs from items left by tenants

· Maintain consistent contact with Facility Manager

· Perform mowing, weed eating, spraying weeds, blowing leaves, and landscape maintenance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $200.00 per month
