MissOuri Smelting Technology Inc., a Toyota Tsusho America Group Company, has immediate opening for full-time, direct hire experienced MAINTENANCE GROUP LEADER in Jackson, TN.

MOST is a secondary aluminum recycler that receives, processes, and melts aluminum to produce high quality molten and solid products for use by other industries, including the production of automobile parts.

Experience: Minimum 6 years related experience required. Previous supervisory experience required. High School diploma or GED. Position typically requires a technical degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Lead standard operating practices, procedures, prescribed safety rules and regulations in the Plant
• Lead, direct and guide maintenance tm's; follow through w/ assignments given to others.
• Assign, schedule and supervise the maintenance and repair work of maintenance team members, i.e. fabrication, carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, welding, heating, ventilation, etc.
• Perform skilled work in maintenance trades areas; lead maintenance personnel in major projects; inspect and evaluate work in progress or upon completion.
• Troubleshoots production problems and takes preventative and corrective action; analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action
• Suggests methods for improving product quality or design or manufacturing processes
• On-Call - Respond to emergency site maintenance after hours and weekends as needed
• Estimate labor and material costs for replacement, repair, alterations and improvements to building, building systems, and equipment
• Responsible for ensuring TM's complete PM's in a timely manner
• Training - provides on the job training for inexperienced team members as needed
• Various administrative functions, i.e. approve time sheets, vacation/personal day requests, schedules mandatory overtime, assist w/ maintenance applicant interviews, evaluates subordinates, etc.
