Job description
We are currently seeking an Medical Scribe / LPN to join our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Experience in a medical office environment, working directly with providers and patients - a plus!!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Able to operate as medical provider's assistant by accurately documenting patient interviews, evaluations and retrieving data.
- Ability to read and comprehend medical instructions, terminology and dictations involved on written and oral instructions.
- Assist in the coordination of patient medical comprehensive interviews and programs.
- Maintains patient medical health related data and reports. Enters, organizes, complies and analyzes health routine data and information for reports or presentations. Composes straightforward written descriptions of results.
- Assists with the planning and developing of the follow up health care for patient.
- Establishes/maintains follow-up system: coordinate reports, etc.
- Assist in assessing patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Communicate information to patients as directed
- Maintain patient medical records
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities

Requirements
- Nursing License and/or experience as a medical scribe
