Develop and deliver pro-active risk solutions to enhance HSB relationships with Client Companies, leveraging loss control engineering knowledge, services and products to benefit HSB, our Client Companies, and their customers. A key member of the HSB Client Integration Team (CIT) providing technical input for marketing initiatives, aggregate claims data analysis, as well as overall business operation analysis for assigned clients. Collaborate with Corporate Underwriting, Claims, and Engineering and is the primary contact to address all Treaty Loss Control Engineering budget questions. Develop Technical Service Plan (TSP) for assigned priority clients to manage the development and delivery of mutually agreed upon loss control solutions.


Qualifications


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Insurance or business related major or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced technical degrees, registration as a Professional Engineer and insurance experience and designation is desired (i.e., CPCU, ARM, CEA etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience in risk management or loss control, engineering/technical projects and/or insurance business


Knowledge and Skills:

  • General insurance and insurance concept knowledge
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance products
  • Risk exposure knowledge
  • Financial acumen
  • Consultative selling
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong presentation and training skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Domestic travel is required, including driving and air travel
