A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this role, you will…

  • Analyze, prepare and review Mortgage insurance claims to determine losses and potential recoveries.
  • Review client data and cross reference with Insurer allowables, vendor data, and invoices.
  • Ensure agency and client deadlines are met timely.
  • Data entry and calculations, monthly reporting, and meeting with clients on a regular basis.

WHO YOU ARE
You possess …

  • 4+ years’ experience in default mortgage, including familiarity with the life of the default cycle, mortgage documents and the associated milestones of foreclosure
  • 2+ years’ experience preparing/filing claims for FHA; additional mortgage insurer experience considered for FNMA, FHLMC, VA or USDA
  • A penchant for excellence. You will use your strong attention to detail to maintain our quality standards.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, especially the ability to meet tight deadlines for our clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to quickly learn new skills, processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, prepare and review Mortgage insurance claims to determine losses and potential recoveries.
  • Review client data and cross reference with Insurer allowables, vendor data, and invoices.
  • Ensure agency and client deadlines are met timely.
  • Data entry and calculations, monthly reporting, and meeting with clients on a regular basis.
  • All other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years’ experience in default mortgage, including familiarity with the life of the default cycle, mortgage documents and the associated milestones of foreclosure
  • 2+ years’ experience preparing/filing claims for FHA; additional mortgage insurer experience considered for FNMA, FHLMC, VA or USDA
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, including advanced proficiency with Excel
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, research and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Must be able to provide clear, concise written responses that are recorded in the client’s invoice processing system.
  • Ability to learn and retain complex information quickly and efficiently.
