Job description

Fellowship recipients will receive a $50,000 fellowship stipend made in two payments conditioned on satisfactory completion of the 2L summer and subsequently joining the firm as an entry-level associate; and the opportunity to spend a portion of your 2L summer with a firm client supplementing the summer associate program.
Fellowship applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled full-time in an ABA-accredited law school with an anticipated graduation date of 2025
- Be a member of a group that is underrepresented in the legal profession, including members of the Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQ+ and Disability communities
- Have outstanding leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to exceptional client service
- Be genuinely interested in a career with Morgan Lewis
Process:
Interested students should submit the following in support of their candidacy: a cover letter, resume, law school and undergraduate transcripts, and a writing sample. If your law school transcript is not available at the time of your application, we ask that you submit your first semester transcript to our application portal and/or email Amanda Bausch, Attorney Recruiting Manager at amanda.bausch@morganlewis.com once available. Your cover letter should discuss how you have been impacted personally by your membership in an underrepresented group, and how you believe your experiences will contribute to the overall strength of our team at Morgan Lewis.

The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, firm or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
