LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
Topsoe is an international company with headquarters based in Denmark. This position will be located at our U.S. catalyst manufacturing plant located in the Bayport Industrial area in Pasadena.
The Logistics Coordinator position performs the logistics function at Topsoe, Inc. Employees may specialize in domestic movements, imports and/or export functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains sales orders in the SAP system.
- Reviews customer requirements and notifies appropriate employees of specific requirements per ISO final inspection procedure.
- Coordinates delivery of catalyst with customer, transportation and warehouse employees.
- Coordinates delivery of hardware with customer, transportation and supplier.
- Prepares shipping instructions for domestic and export catalyst shipments.
- Create shipping documents for domestic and export catalyst shipments in SAP.
- Works with designated freight forwarder or a 3rd party freight forwarder to make bookings for catalyst shipments.
- Maintains system for tracking all outbound shipments.
- Provides all documentation for the completion of the orders.
- Handles freight invoices and enter them into SAP system for invoicing of customer.
- Coordinate with supplier and customs broker for import shipments.
- Maintains tracking system and coordinates delivery of containers with catalyst, raw material and hardware.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics/shipping preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in import / export of materials preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in SAP preferred.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Computer literate to include Word and Excel.
- HazMat certification training preferred.
- Knowledge of Incoterms preferred.
