Job description
We are currently seeking a General Dentist to provide coverage for our client, Indian Health Service, located in Harlem, MT. This position is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis for a 5-year contract. The ideal candidate must have an active license and be able to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. There are no call requirements, and the patient volume is approximately 10-12 patients per day.Responsibilities for this position include making clinical and radiographic examinations of the oral hard and soft tissues, reviewing patient medical history and chart, developing acceptable treatment plans, and performing endodontic, prosthodontic, periodontics, pedodontic, operative, oral surgery, and preventive orthodontic procedures.
The client will cover all travel and lodging expenses and offer a generous hourly rate. Full-time support staff, including dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants, will be available.
The successful candidate must have a current BLS certification (through American Heart), DEA registration (fee paid, schedules 2-5). We require proof of COVID vaccination and a current NPDB. Additionally, you must be a U.S. citizen and have no background issues, including termination or release from contract early, privileges suspended, default on student loans/taxes, or any reports on NPDB.
Full-time support staff, including dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants, will be available.
