Local Class A Truck Driver – ADM Trucking, Inc. – Camanche, IA
Full time tanker truck driver - nights, weekends, and holidays will be required to ensure timely deliveries to our customers. Full time employees are eligible for a benefits package including health, dental & vision insurance, 401(k) and paid vacation. This is a slip seat, day cab position. Mileage rate = 51.4 cpm

Job Summary – The Class A Truck Driver must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances. Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructions. Weekly mileages can and do fluctuate. Equipment includes but is not limited to semi truck, tank trailers, dry van, hopper, pneumatic, intermodal, and flat beds. Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructions.

Class A CDL with a Tanker endorsement is required - must be able to obtain a Hazardous Materials endorsement within 60 days.

Essential Job Functions – The individual is required to follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations. This includes but not is limited to FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, DOL & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:

• 24 years of age or older
• Two years of verifiable OTR or local tractor trailer experience required in the last seven years
• Commercial License REQUIRED. Class A CDL with Tank endorsement - must be able to obtain haz mat endorsement within 60 days of start
• Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
• No more than one chargeable accident within the last three years
• No more than one moving violation ticket in the last three years
• No convictions of D.U.I., D.U.S., or open container in the last 7 years
• No positive controlled substance/alcohol tests from prior employer
• Any candidate not possessing these requirements is subject to management approval prior to employment

DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, functionality testing and background check will be required.
