Job Summary

This position delivers ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) that require a CDL Class A license. Drivers are either assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated is subject to change depending on business needs.

Education & Experience Required:

• Must have a High School education or GED.
• This position requires a Class A CDL driver’s license.
• Must possess a clean driving record.
• A minimum of one (1) year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is required.

Education & Experience Preferred:

• Three years previous route delivery driver or DSD experience preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Must be able to drive in stressful environments. Unloads, loads, and rotates product in merchandisers / iceboxes. Required to lift 40 lbs. throughout the day. Required to work in all weather conditions. Weekend, night, and holiday work is a requirement of the position. Will perform work in retail stores; frequently driving between retail stores and plant location. Overtime may be required. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
