Local Class B Drivers

Western has been a leading provider of environmental and hazardous waste management services in New England since 1975, supplying our customers with a variety of environmental services and petroleum recycling systems.

We are currently looking for Drivers out of our Lincoln, RI office to operate a Class B box and tanker trucks picking up and delivering petroleum products at locations such as garages, automotive dealerships, quick change oil companies, fleet maintenance facilities, bus companies, airports and rental car companies. This is a full-time position with potential for growth as well as overtime pay opportunities, generous benefits and competitive wages.

Job Description:

• Operates a Class B company vehicle collecting used oil

• Perform daily inspections of interior and exterior of Company Vehicle

• Drivers are responsible for loading and offloading their load

• Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of Company equipment

• Placard vehicles to meet Company and Department of Transportation (DOT requirements/regulations

• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly log sheets (company & DOT)

• Complete service receipts for all customers on a daily basis

• Test to determine if the oil or antifreeze indicates contamination

• Collect oil, water, and antifreeze from various accounts on a daily basis

• Commercial deliveries of windshield washer fluid and antifreeze

• Collect product as scheduled on a daily basis

• Provide fuel receipts on a daily basis

• Monday through Friday

• Home nightly

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (Class B w/Hazmat and tanker endorsement)

• Insurable driving record

• Pass drug testing

• Pass background check

• Previous sales/route-based experience preferred

• Strong customer Service Skills
