WESTconsin Credit Union is expanding our I.T. Department! The Loan System Analyst leads and facilitates the collaboration between business leaders and technology solutions to ensure alignment across people, processes, and technology. Position is based in Menomonie, WI and has the opportunity for remote or hybrid work locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understands the credit union's strategic direction and ensures systems configuration and processes continue to align with WESTconsin's strategic priorities
  • Partners with lending leaders to ensure the systems are configured to support their requirements
  • Maintains current knowledge of key computer technologies and software programs used internally
  • Leads the process for releases for lending system, ensuring they are tested, communicated, trained, and implemented effectively
  • Delivers training using appropriate adult learning principles, instructional methods, and change management techniques. Identifies and accommodates, where possible, special training needs.
  • Leads and participates in projects and process improvements as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for lending systems and implements advanced configurations in support of efficient processes for our employees and members
  • Partners with third parties for issue resolution, system testing, product implementation, and system enhancements
  • Recommends and implements system configurations that ensure data security and integrity, while in compliance with policies, procedures, and internal and external assessments and audits
  • Provides afterhours support as needed for system upgrades
  • Identifies the need for new or enhanced configuration within lending systems and works with IT Security and Core Analysts to identify requirements and implements them to the system
  • Accepts delivery of documents, maps fields for efficiency, implements workflows, tests in various test/production environments, and communicates changes to users
  • Collaborates and builds relationships with third-party vendors; assists with contract renewal and vendor due diligence; maintains accurate system user controls
  • Updates loan rates; communicates changes to employees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and four years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Ability to make sound business decisions with consideration to end users, regulation or compliance requirements, and member experience
  • Experience with informal leadership of cross functional teams that lead to action and results
