POSITION OVERVIEW
Unloads aluminum extrusion from trucks and loads onto anodizing racks, and unloads same from racks after the anodizing process is complete by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Unloads materials from trucks by hand or by using lifting devices such as overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Opens containers, bundles or packages.
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Rotates material.
Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas for processing.
Counts and records number of units of metal on tags or cards attached to bundles to be transported to production departments, and for inventory control.
Loads truck for Industrial Truck Operator.
Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
May, with proper approval and training, operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
