Lovely Bay Area family is seeking a mature, warm, caring, and professional Nanny/Family Assistant for their 20-month-old child. This down-to-earth family values work-life balance and are eager to welcome a rotational nanny team of two to their home who can grow with them. Must be willing and able to travel with the family when needed. Duties include: full childcare, preparing the childs meals/snacks activities, helping to maintain the childs routine and sleep schedule, assisting in bedtime routine when needed, and communicating regularly with the family. This position is ideal for a candidate who considers themselves a self-starter and prides themselves on hitting the ground running in their role as a caregiver! Candidates with recent infant and toddler experience will be prioritized. A nanny who is a team player with excellent communication skills to work alongside co-nanny and parents will thrive in this role. Ideal candidate is flexible, emotionally mature, professional ethical, and kind. Candidates should have the ability to multitask, be able to accommodate the changing schedules of the family and always remain positive and calm. Children are the number one priority with safety and security being paramount. The family surrounds themselves with wonderful people, they expect that all of their staff will represent them accordingly. The family favors discretion at all times as well as highly valuing confidentiality. It is important to keep their privacy honored at all times.

  • Schedule: Rotational 7 days on/ 7 days off schedule
  • Full-time: 24 hour coverage/7 day week.
  • Live in during shifts. Family provides a 1-bedroom suite with bathroom within home
  • Start Date: ASAP
Requirements:
  • Verifiable, long-term experience working with young infants, long term intent
  • Ability to work with multiple children
  • Being able to SWIM comfortably in pools and the ocean
  • Valid Updated Certification in Adult Pediatric First Aid/CPR
  • Willingness to mirror the familys COVID-19 safety protocols
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Must have reliable personal vehicle, though a family car will be provided for driving the child if needed
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be willing to sign an NDA and submit to an in-depth background check
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 35 pounds without assistance
Compensation/Benefits:
  • Hourly rate that equates to $100-120k (firm range) annually, depending on experience
  • Health/Dental/Vision/Life Benefits package
  • 401k contribution
  • 8 days of PTO accrue per year on a per pay period basis, as the rotational position lends itself easily to having time off.

  • Paid holidays (agreed upon in advance)
  • Bonus will be offered on an as-earned performance basis
