The Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee is hiring talented Line Cooks for breakfast and evening hours. Our Executive Chef would love to have you join her team - you'll prepare high-end food for the restaurant as well as assist with our many banquet events (multiple events on weekends). - Prepare food efficiently as orders are received.
- Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef.
- Follow predetermined instruction regarding recipes and quantities.
- Have a basic knowledge of food cost control.
- Follow food handling and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant cooking experience, education and/or culinary training is required
- Food knowledge regarding soups, sauté, broiler, and pantry preferred
- Must have manual dexterity for knife handling, sautéing, and equipment usage
- Excellent food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate a variety of commercial cooking equipment
