WHAT YOU WILL DO:

People get hungry. People get thirsty. Satisfying those people is not a one person job, its a process. One essential part of this process is Cook I, who is responsible for consistent preparation and serving of menu items and the cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen. In the absence of the Chef and Sous Chef, Cook I is directly responsible for the entire kitchen.

THIS POSITION IS FOR YOU IF YOU…

• Have a desire to exude genuine hospitality.
• Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. It'll be hard to help out the Chef and Sous Chef if nobody has any clue what you're saying.
• Are ready to work any shifts. After all, this is a hotel you will be working weekends, holidays, and all kinds of other days. But don't worry, well let you take a vacation every once and a while.
• Are versatile. You must be able to work any station at any time.
• Are awesome. We only hire awesome people. You'll be thankful for this because it means that all your coworkers will be awesome too.
• Are meticulous. No detail is too small for your attention.
• Know how to make a good first impression. That's the impression we need to make on our guests, with every drink, meal, and interaction.
• Have a good eye. We want our food to be just as aesthetically pleasing as it is delicious.
• Have done this job before. Practice makes perfect, so that will surely help you out. That's why we require that you have 4 years of experience.
