Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)
Qualifications
:
- Valid Texas LNHA license
- Prior experience as Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)
- Proven leadership ability with strong skills in operations, finance, marketing, administration, management, human relations, and governmental regulations
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of reimbursement regulations, nursing practices/procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term administration.
- Ability to interact and build partnerships with staff, residents, families, government agencies and the surrounding community.
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility.

& R
esponsibilities
:
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility and keep the organization on track for its long-term goals and mission.
2. Coordinate and provide leadership to each clinical, managerial, and custodial team, and ensure that they work together effectively.
3. Hire (and fire) staff and employees at every level
4. Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
5. Must have a sincere caring for and interest in the elderly and have the ability to communicate policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to personnel, residents, families, and government agencies.
6. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure residents’ individual care plans are being followed.
7. Provide regular safety and compliance training.
8. Create and maintain a budget.
9. Oversee billing and set fees.
10. Monitor turnover and solidify current and future staffing through appropriate selection, orientation, training, staff education and development.
11. Act as the ‘face’ of the organization to the governing board, the public, and residents’ families; and as a liaison between staff, residents, and families
