Intensive Specialty Hospital is a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital. We provide cardiopulmonary care, ventilator and respiratory care, complex wound care, rehabilitation therapies, addiction medicine program, geriatric psychiatry program, multidisciplinary pain program, and outpatient counseling program. With four locations in Shreveport and Bossier City, we will be the largest provider of LTAC services in Northwest Louisiana.

Intensive Behavioral Health PHP/IOP is seeking an exceptional Provisional Licensed Mental Health Professional (PLPC or LMSW) to provide in person services at Intensive Behavioral Health PHP/IOP. The Licensed Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing group and individual counseling.
This position also includes performing assessments, treatment planning, group and individual therapy notes, and discharge planning. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work in an active environment. Flexibility, ability to collaborate on a motivated team, excellent work ethic, and strong clinical skills are necessary. Requirements:
  • A degree and valid Louisiana state PLPC or LMSW license to practice
  • BLS and CPI certification. (If one is not CPI certified upon employment, must acquire within 90 days of employment and maintain throughout employment)
  • At least 1-2 years of group therapy experience preferred
  • Three years of experience in Outpatient Counseling preferred.
  • Clinical experience
  • Basic knowledge of computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word / Outlook)
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Strong communication, patient/customer care, and leadership abilities
  • The ability to organize and time-manage
  • Team-player

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide individual therapy sessions as needed
