We currently have an opening for a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team at our Walnut Creekclinic. The Massage Therapist will perform physical evaluations of assigned patients and apply a range of appropriate therapeutic treatments, to include manual massage therapy. Position Summary:
  • Evaluate clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion
  • Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used
  • Discuss with physical therapists to develop treatment plans for clients
  • Massage and knead the muscles and soft tissues of the human body in order to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries or wellness maintenance
  • Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records of clients
  • Operates therapeutic devices, to include devices for the application of electrotherapy, ultrasound, heat, cold, iontophoresis, biofeedback, and compression
  • Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas)
  • Document treatments accurately through EMR system
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED and successful completion of Therapeutic Massage school
  • 1+ years of post-licensure experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified Certifications/Licensure Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
  • Experience in Medical Massage Therapy highly preferred
  • Current State licensure for Massage Therapist
