Job description
MIPSB stands for Mentally Ill problematic Sexual Behavior. The MIPSB program is a collaborative partnership with the Department of Mental Health, Clinic Director for State Street, and the clinical supports to develop skills treating folks living with problematic sexual behavior. The program receives referrals through the specialty program within DMH. Program requirements include: individual MIPSB supervision, group MIPSB supervision, attending Risk Management meetings, providing individual therapy, monthly billing, and collateral support to community providers.
This position requires a candidate to be licensed: LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT. Folks who are scheduled for their license within 60 days are encourage to apply. Interested candidates need to be interested in the forensic population and open to expanding their clinical knowledge base in order to provide trauma informed care with a focus on attachment repair and preserving safety for the community.
This position could be FFS or salaried. There is an opportunity to work with persons served whom are not part of the MIPSB program. The interview process would include an first round interview with the Clinic Director and a second round with the program leads at DMH.
