Klein, Stoddard, Buck & Lewis, LLC is seeking a new Legal Assistant / Paralegal. We represent clients in estate planning, real estate transactions, small business ventures, civil litigation, divorce and related issues. Our current opening will focus primarily on probate, guardianship, and litigation files, but with overlap in other practice areas as needed.

The work includes preparing court pleadings, reports, and related documents; communicating regularly with clients; scheduling appointments; and, related tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail, as well as proficient grammar and drafting abilities. We expect our staff to have good communication skills, high standards for producing quality work, and careful attention to personal service for each client.

Our office uses electronic filing for most records, so applicants must be competent with online interfaces, scanning, PDF-based applications, Outlook for email, and Word for document preparation.

Full time hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Compensation is competitive for our area, with full time employees receiving paid time off based on years of service. We have a 401K retirement plan, and we offer health insurance (the cost is shared between employer and employee).

Pay: $20.00 - $27.50 per hour
