Job description

We are looking for a Leasing Associate to join The Orden Company Family! The Leasing Associate will market and lease assigned properties as well as provide essential support and assistance in the preparation and processing of leases for The Orden Company on behalf of its affiliates.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare original lease proposals for new and existing tenants
  • Negotiate lease terms and conditions under the direction of the Executive Director
  • Track critical lease dates and milestones
  • Provide timely communication with all leasing process stakeholders on status of lease transactions
  • Maintain accurate and complete lease files
  • Follow up on outstanding tenant improvement action items with brokers and internal team members to ensure timely responses
  • Research and stay abreast of comparable properties, their pricing, and competitive positions to maximize occupancy and financial performance of TOC's properties relative to competition
  • Inspect, monitor, and prepare vacant spaces to ensure "show ready condition." Work closely with property management team in the preparation of vacant spaces.
  • Prepare and present monthly activity reports and updates for management team
  • Research and prepare market reports, including occupancy, rental rate studies, and lease assumptions
  • Comply with TOC standards for leases, letters of intent, approval forms and deal sheets
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with Commercial leasing, including office, retail and industrial space
  • Proven knowledge & understanding of commercial leasing process, including a solid knowledge and understanding of various types (e.g., Gross, Modified Gross, Triple Net, etc.)
  • Knowledge & understanding of space planning and tenant improvement process
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Works independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Yardi experience is big plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
