GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for coordinating all setup technicians to set up safely & efficiently, while ensuring product adheres to our quallity policy. If all operators and set up techs are running smoothly, you're expected to run production as well to maximize department throughput. Provide necessary coverage when supervisor is out of office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assign set up technicians to converting machines daily.
Assign tasks to maximize set up tech productivity, machine moves, JJ Keller safety training, QT9 training, etc.
Coordinate break times to keep convertng machines running
Ensure set up techs are staying on task to maximize department throughput
Notify supervisor if any operators or set up techs aren't adhearing to Pregis policies
Hold high level of integrity and confidentiality when needed as a meeting witness
First Aid/CPR/AED certified
Ensure a smooth handoff with next shift
Ensure set up techs are completing their set up responsibilities form
Contacts maintenance when needed and able to assist with machine related problems
Ensure set up techs are utilizing the set up program
Communicated Set up tech supply levels
Preforms other job related duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Process control work experience
Mechanically inclined preferred
5+ years of set up technician work perferred
5+ years of manufacturing work experience
