Artisan at the Delamar West Hartford is seeking an experienced, polished, and creative Lead Mixologist to spearhead the restaurant’s beverage program. This is a great opportunity for someone with a true passion for handcrafted cocktails, a love of people, and the ability to create an inviting, upscale and comfortable environment for hotel and restaurant guests.

Responsibilities include bar setup, service, and maintenance, as well as collaborating with the beverage team to continuously develop the beverage program to reflect seasonality, freshness, and current beverage trends; you will also coordinate with the culinary team on food operations. The Lead Mixologist will provide training, leadership and direction to the Bar team, ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Candidates must have a minimum 3 years of bartending experience, preferably in a casual/fine dining establishment. He/she has very strong knowledge of mixology and spirits, recipes and ingredients. Solid wine knowledge is also required.
