Job Summary

Responsible for owning reporting, ad-hoc data and analytical support across all business operational areas through translation of complex analytics into concise and consumable reports. Lead a team that is directly responsible for code and reporting output.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Owns the code base produced by the team to perform analysis, reporting, and modeling. Identifies, locates and extracts data from a variety of sources for use in reporting, analysis, and statistical modeling.
• Develops/manages automated reports for daily consumption using specific formatting and presentation guidelines. Owns the architecture of reports for the team.
• Leads analytical investigations aimed at answering specific business problems using data with an emphasis on recommending actionable solutions based on insights. Translates reporting requirements into milestones for other reporting analysts.
• Develops predictive models for a variety of business issues to include predicting future business scenarios, milestones and outcomes.
• Builds strong relationships with business partners and leaders to provide thought partnership on metrics and visualizations.
• Collaborates and provides support to multiple departments to ensure the business intelligence, analytic, and reporting needs are met with technology, architecture, processes and tools.
• Tests, analyzes and problem solves data issues to ensure data integrity and provide technical support for end users self-service BI tool. Conducts testing of programs and global holdout maintenance.
• Mentors and leads team development as coders and report architects with direct responsibility/ ownership for code and reporting output. Documents data definition and report sources and for all reports.

• Develops or engages/directs others in developing innovative solutions to important, highly complex strategic and operating problems; cross-departmental considerations are often present.

Work Environment

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 8+ years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders through strong storytelling
• Advanced SQL, Power BI or Tableau, and Excel experience
• Extremely detail-oriented and intellectually curious
