Job Summary:
The Service Manager for Company Operated Spas will provide training to Licensed Estheticians. This position requires a current license to perform esthetics on Hand & Stone clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Training licensed estheticians on waxing, facial and body treatments
- Adhere to appointments timely by monitoring time schedule
- Ability to interview clients to obtain information about contraindications and examining skin to evaluate the suitability of treatments
- Ability to advise clients on skincare and recommending suitable treatments and home care regimens.
- Maintenance of product knowledge to promote and sell spa services and retail products
- Adherence to esthetics policies pertaining to chemical usage, and cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment
- Work 50% of the time in a company operated spa performing esthetics services on clients.
- 50% travel to company operated spas located in Florida
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 3+ year of industry experience
- Proficient in performing all applicable treatments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
Education and Experience:
- State licensure to practice as an esthetician
- Pervious management experience a plus
- Current liability insurance
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
