As LCOE Project Manager Offshore Wind you assume responsibility to increase the competitiveness and value of our future renewable generation assets. In close collaboration with our operational units (e.g. Offshore / Onshore Wind Development), our global Engineering team and Commercial/ Financial functions you will lead the systematic optimisation of our newly build projects.

Your future plans

  • Lead the LCOE optimisation efforts for selected newly built projects, with a focus on offshore wind:
    • Setting up a systematic optimisation approach in alignment with the project leadership, including target ambition, determination of baseline and LCOE workshops with internal and external stakeholders
    • Managing the LCOE improvement efforts of the project team, incl. idea generation, validation and implementation planning in close collaboration with the responsible technical and commercial functions of the project team
    • Tracking of both project specific and generic LCOE optimisation measures to ensure that projects are properly optimized collaboratively with the senior project management team and other relevant experts
    • Targeted benchmarking of the project under consideration with comparable projects (gap analysis) in order to identify further potential for improvement
  • Assume responsibility for the development and continuous improvement of our LCOE tools, databases and methodologies used for project optimisation and thus support the effective optimisation of our projects in the offshore pipeline
  • Analyse competitors activities and current position regarding LCOE optimisation with an aim to improve our competitive insights and the LCOE optimisation approach
  • Promote LCOE-driven company culture, incl. regular reporting of project successes and LCOE optimisation program awareness

Your profile

  • Successfully completed university degree in technology, natural science, naval architecture/marine engineering and/or economics
  • Relevant professional experience in project management, ideally within offshore wind, the (wind) energy business or from a consulting background with focus on renewable energy
  • Technical or commercial expertise in the field of renewable energies (e.g. offshore, onshore wind, naval architecture/marine engineering) and knowledge of the common project development phases of an off- or onshore wind project
  • Interdisciplinary and creative mindset, ability to work independently and proactively
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and an ability to understand the economic aspects of topics from a broad spectrum of technical disciplines
  • Proven project management, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to prioritise and work independently
  • Proven experience in understanding of complex and interdisciplinary topics and explain them in a variety of stakeholder contexts
  • Strong team player, flexible, self-organising, enthusiastic, focused on stakeholder needs and capable to strive within a dynamic international environment
