Position: Landscaper Manager

As our Landscaper Manager, you will be responsible for leading our landscaping projects, managing a team of skilled landscapers, and ensuring that every job meets or exceeds client expectations. Some duties include placing the order with the wholesale nursery, picking up the plants, and installation. Additionally, during the off-season, we are also seeking a Delivery Driver to service our weekly fresh-flower accounts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of landscaping experience, with a strong understanding of industry best practices and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership abilities, with proven experience in managing and coordinating landscaping projects.
  • Good social skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and suppliers.
  • Clean driving record and the ability to drive a commercial van to transport equipment and materials.
  • Knowledge of local plants, trees, and seasonal maintenance practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions on the job.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Lead a team of landscapers, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize their productivity and performance.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their landscaping needs, provide recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Drive a commercial van to transport equipment, tools, and materials to job sites.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations, assess project requirements, and develop detailed work plans.
  • Manage and maintain landscaping equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • During the off-season, fulfill the role of a Delivery Driver, maintaining our weekly fresh-flower accounts.
  • Safely operate delivery vehicles and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of flowers to clients.
