Join our Reagent Manufacturing team in our Newark, Delaware campus as a Laboratory Technician in one of the various areas below. These are excellent positions to immediately contribute to meeting our customer demands while you develop your career within our organization.

Positions may be available on various shifts, including day shift, second and third shift, as well as a limited weekend shift available. Let us know what work schedule you are looking for when you submit your application.

Positions require a BS or BA in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or other life science, or equivalent combination of education and experience, including individuals with an associate degree or vocational program.

Antibody Production
The Laboratory Technician will assist the team in the production of antibody raw material. The individual will follow production worksheets and area procedures. Responsibilities will include preparation of nutrient supplements, equipment set up, autoclaves operations as well as operating equipment to harvest and purify antibody material. Experience in aseptic techniques preferred, on the job training will be provided. Full-time positions, with a regular work week which includes a Saturday or a Sunday are available.

Formulation
The Laboratory Technician will operate manufacturing equipment in the formulation of reagents and calibrators for various product lines. The individual will follow production worksheets and area procedures, interact with cross functional teams and support troubleshooting the formulation process. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) background check clearance is required.

Reagent Production
The Laboratory Technicians in our complex reagent manufacturing team will be executing production work orders in in specialty production areas such as conjugate, Loci, Latex, Chrome, organic chemistry and physical pharmacy. The individual will follow production worksheets and area procedures to chemical reactions in aqueous, organic, or solid phase, purify the product, and test the product using a variety of lab instrumentation (HPLC, UV/VIS Spectrophotometer,

NMR, Particle Analyzer, pH Meter, Sonicator, Purification Systems such as AKTA, NGC). Basic knowledge of chemistry and purification of proteins, conjugated proteins, and/or organic molecules are required. DEA clearance can be requested depending on the job roles.

Quality Control
The QC Laboratory Technician will be responsible for completing manufacturing related testing/processes on diagnostic equipment, analyzers, and analytical instruments within the Quality Control laboratories. Responsibilities may include sampling, measuring, testing and data analysis using excel and LIMS.

Technical Operations
The Laboratory Technician will support and investigate manufacturing issues by perform testing on diagnostic equipment and diagnostic analyzers in partnership with our Biochemists to troubleshoot reagents, calibrators and QC material.
Individuals will assist in the preparation of buffers, standards, calibrators and reagent formulations as needed.

All positions will work within our quality systems and comply with regulatory agencies such as FDA, DEA,
ISO. Individuals will be familiar with GMP, GLP, and GDP, may work with SAP, Documentum, and Microsoft
Office. Strong mathematical skills to perform analysis of data is required.
