LABOR RELATIONS ASSISTANT

The Labor Relations Assistant (LRA) will be responsible for supporting the interests of the company in dealing with union employees and individuals representing unionized workforces at all DRG global locations. The LRA is charged with supporting the Labor Relations Representative and the PMO for negotiation and execution aspects of the Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) including all research/preparation, negotiations, and implementation as well as oversees any Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) needed. The LRA has the authority to perform day-to-day operations needed to help support the CBAs while ensuring appropriate senior management/leadership stays abreast of issues.


Essential Duties of the Position

  • Responsible for supporting the LRR for all CBAs for union employees are current with timetables built for any expiring CBAs/Bridges.
  • Serves as a focal for interpretation of all CBAs.
  • Works with Human Resources to make sure all ratified CBAs are executed as negotiated.
  • Serves as a point of interface between DRG Corporate leadership/legal, union personnel, and union representatives for any union issues.
  • Assists in the bid and proposal process for any CBA requirements as well as other program assistance as directed.
  • Coordinates with corporate functional areas for personnel support and meeting any CBA requirements.
  • Supports preparation and execution for CBA reviews and negotiations
  • Supports the human resources department, PMO, and/or legal department for administrative and support task items
  • Assists with site communications regarding labor, human resources, and/or benefits information

Qualifications

Associates degree, 2 or more years of management, human resources, or project management level experience, military training support experience is preferred. Collective bargaining agreement and labor relations experience a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Must be able to obtain a Secret Level Security Clearance.
