Job description
Responsibilities include taking care of the administrative portion of running a kitchen while preparing and producing the food. Meet with café/winery and events manager to review reservation lists, pre-orders and weekend events along with ordering food, cleaning and kitchen supplies. Focus on creating new monthly menu items and instructing other cooks on how to successfully recreate them. Select ingredients, decide on portion sizes, schedule kitchen staff and keep all workstations clean and tidy. Provide price details to upper management and establish price for new menu items. Give menu descriptions and price to admin and café manager.
