Job Description:

Become part of a dynamic and growing team developing state of the art devices and software that create a real-time simulation experience for railroad engineer training and certification. You will be in charge of recreating the dynamics of a train based on data provided by our customers, including

· Electrical systems

· Electronic and pneumatic braking systems

· Train Forces

· On Board Equipment

This is a fast paced yet highly rewarding position for a talented engineer. You will be based at our offices in Jacksonville, Florida, working in a highly international context. Short-term on-site missions are expected for meetings, data collection or customer acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop accurate locomotive and train simulation models

· Interface with customers to capture design goals, obtain required data and validate the models

· Write design documentation and acceptance test procedures

· Work in close alignment with overall engineering management structure to follow engineering best practices.

Qualifications:

· BS in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical is preferred)

· 1 to 5 years of experience as an Engineer

· Proficient in English for oral and written technical communications

· Excellent computer skills under Windows environment

· Able to read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics

· Able to read and understand programming code (C, C++, Fortran)

· Abie to infrequently travel to customer sites for meetings, installations, and upgrades

· Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
