The Hebrew Academy of Nassau County located in West Hempstead, NY seeks Judaic
studies teachers to join our extraordinary elementary faculty in facilitating an environment of
academic excellence and love of learning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement lessons and activities to teach and inspire students with a
- differentiated approach within a risk free environment.
- Collaborate with other Judaic studies teachers, administrators, and specialists to develop
- curriculum, plan special projects, and solve problems.
- Work and communicate effectively with parents in formal and informal conferences and
- written reports.
- Demonstrate a knowledge and passion for Torah, mitzvot, and Jewish holidays.
